At Access Disability Services, our unique combination of experience and skills places us in the privileged position of being able to provide a range of services for disabled people.  We are experts in welfare rights and social care and our team includes a qualified and experienced social worker and nurse. Over 30 years experience in the disability, health and charity sectors has garnered an in-depth knowledge in welfare benefits and health and social care systems. We are acutely aware that disabled people are more likely to access these due to the nature and additional costs of being disabled.  However, access is notoriously difficult and the process complicated.  We can help you navigate this overwhelming system to ensure you receive the right amount of care and benefits.

We will support you to:

  • Obtain a full and accurate assessment of your needs relating to your disability that is a legal requirement

  • Secure entitled and appropriate disability benefits including Personal Independence Payments (PIPS), Attendance Allowance and Carers Allowance to cover the additional costs of disability.

  • Apply for the Blue Badge Mobility scheme

  • Receive the correct level of social care that meets your needs through a variety of options including Continuing Health Care, Direct Payments and direct services

  • Challenge disputes, when services and benefits are disputed or denied, through advocacy
